Greetings Brothers,

With all due respect to brother Cashman, EEKKK! TRADITION RUN
AWAY!!! RUN AWAY!!! Seriously folks, It sure seems to me that it's
taboo to have any traditions in this fraternity, especially (GASP!) any
before 1976. I haven't quite figured out why. It's kinda sad though.
A great philosopher one said that "if we choose to forget the past then
we are doomed to repeat it" How can we ignore where WE came from. Every
piece of this fraternity that we choose to forget dimminishes us all.
How much longer before we all begin to say "yeah I"m a member of APO
service club, yeah it was founded by some Horton dude a long time ago, I
think it had something to do with scouting and such..." Maybe I'm a
little off base here (or maybe not), but I'm sick of the constant efforts
to destroy this fraternities traditions, of which the proposed toast song
changes are just a symptom. Thank you for your time.

                                              In Brotherhood,
