Hello again everybody,

Can anyone out there provide information on how their chapter handles officer
transition? Specifically, do any of you have a dedicated program in place for
the briefing of active members who have been elected to a chapter office? For
example, my home chapter of Iota Phi has traditionally had a meeting in which
all outgoing officers brief their newly elected replacements on their duties.

Also, if your chapter has an organized officer transition program, to what
extent are faculty advisors involved? Besides the traditional Leadership
Series, what leadership related materials if any (ie: articles, texts etc.)
do you recommend or use? I have been told that the U.C. Riverside chapter has
a formal program in place. Any UCR brothers out there available for feedback
on this? Feedback from any and all parties interested in this topic will be
greatly appreciated.
