Dear Brothers,
Greetings and salutations from New York City!

The Spring 1995 Section 97 Conference is (mercifully?)
over! Thanks to those who attended! Some facts and figures for those who
couldn't be there:
                         41 brothers,pledges,advisors and staff members
attended the conference (46 if you count the "Friday night luau"
thing)! This is up 4100% from last year's conference! That's because last
year--we didn't HAVE a conference! 19 attended from
Alpha Gamma Gamma Chapter (Hunter College), six from Beta Iota
Chapter(NYU), a half-dozen from Kappa Beta Chapter (Polytechnic
University), one from Epsilon Sigma Chapter (Univ. Buffalo), five staff
members, including Cheryl Smith, our Region I director, and four from a newly
formed group from Hofstra University! Speaking of Hofstra, Stephanie
Weintraub reports that her group now totals 22! Apparently these guys don't
know about the "blackjack" rule in
Section 97--over 21 members and you're out!
To all who attended-we apologize for the mixup
concerning the service project! We will personally kick that lady's
butt on behalf on all those who were inconvenienced!
Andrew Braverman is new section 97 chair-we all
wish him luck! His e-mail handle is andrew@panix.com!
Gilbert DiMeza of Beta Iota chapter (New York
University) won the Ugly Man contest!
NYU alumni is planning a trip to the truly
putrid
Camp Pouch in Staten Island for April 15-16! Call Paul Romain (718) 468-2217!

                                   Next Section 97 Conference-Spring 1996 at
Polytechnic University in beautiful downtown Brooklyn! See ya there!
To Section 99-Good luck with your
conference at Rutgers on April 1!
