Last night, the Petitioning Group cermony for the Wellesley College group
(Wellesley, Mass) was administered. Fifteen students and an advisor (GSUSA)
took the petitioning oath. Representatives were in attendance from the big
brother chapters, Zeta Upsilon (Boston University) and Alpha Chi (MIT), as
well as brothers from Kappa Omicron (U Mass) and Omicron Iota (Worcester
Polytech.), and numerous staff and other alumni. The Region I Director
(Cheryl Smith) sent her congratulations, complete with "blue" and gold
flowers.
Thank you to all who came! The ceremony was quite a success! A make-up
seremony will be scheduled for the students and faculty advisors who could
not make it last night.
