It is official, the Arkansas-Kansas-Oklahoma Third Annual Tri-Sectional
Conference is scheduled for October 6,7, and 8, in Norman, Oklahoma.
You may all considered yourselves invited, formal invitations will
be mailed to respective chapters in the three sections, the section chairs
in Region VIII and Texas, and assorted other APO big-wigs, in the
next week or two. It looks as though we'll be doing some new fellowship
activities, ie a hayride and a barbeque, along with attempting to hold
a Leadership Development Workshop. If you haven't been to one at
Nationals or Regionals, they are really neat and not something to be missed.
So if you find yourself saying, "Hey, I've never been to the Cowboy Hall of
Fame or the boyhood home of Vince Gill!(who??)" Then make plans to come
down or up, for those you in Texas, and partake of our hospitality.
If you are interested in attending and participating in the LDW, please
contact us as soon as possible, we need to meet a quota of participants
from various chapters by mid July.
