That is not entirely true. Yes on a PC viruses live only in EXE and COM files,
but on other systems viruses can live in Email and other "data" files. I did
not see the origional message and have no idea as to what kind of system this
warning was pertaining, but any virus warning should be check out before rumors
are spread.
