Basically, if that was the case, I don't think there would be any problem
with the National Board of Directors approving it, but it doesn't come
automatically. I think a letter on school letterhead from the Dean of
Student Affairs or Dean of Greek Affairs would lead to a very short
discussion and an almost certainly unanimous vote, but it still would
have to be voted on.
As I said, Capital U in Ohio is a good example of this..
BTW, at some schools the requirement isn't that all Greek Letter
Organizations join, but rather all that have a pledging process.
For example:
My wife belongs to the French Honorary, Pi Delta Phi. Admittance is
purely on grades and credits and most new members meet the current
members at the initiation.
