A got a note asking me what IFC, NPC & NPHC are...
IFC(Inter Fraternity Council) greeks are men's fraternities. Most
National men's fraternities belong to the National Interfraternity Council
(NIC). If the National belongs to the NIC then teh chapters are generally
on the IFC.
NPC(National Panhellenic Council(?)) are women's fraternities(sororities).
NPHC(National Pan-Hellenic Conferences(?) are 8 of the 9 "historically
black" fraternities and sororities. While they call themselves service
fraternities and sororities, they have a lot in common with the IFC and
NPC greeks.
Togehther these three groups represent 90%+ of the National Social Greek
Letter Organizations.
