Hey, Brothers:

I have a question. If someone approaches you and identifies themselves
as brothers of Alpha Phi Omega (even wearing 'nalia), but you have that feeling
that he/she is not an authentic brother (lacking a great deal of knowledge on
the ideas and "secrecy" of the Fraternity), is there some sort of oral "combi-
nation lock" or authenticity test that can be used. And if they are fake bro-
thers, how can you insure that they don't do it again? While contacting Nation-
als is an option, it is not always possible (long distance costs, after hours,
etc). This is asked to insure that one, outsiders cannot manipulate the good
faith of our fraternity to freeload on some of our benefits we may have, and
two, that we don't have outsiders destroying the strong reputation APO has built
over 70 years of service (and leadership and friendship) when they was never our
brothers from the gitgo.

Peace.
