First some background then the Question.
Virginia Wesleyan College just got e-mail this past August... In fact that
was the first time VWC has been on the Internet at all... To get an E-mail
account through the school requires one to fill out a form (three blanks)
and pay only one dollar.
My question is: what is everyones opinion on requiring brothers in the
chapter to have and check that email account. (whether it's through school
or not).
Pro: constant communication
Easy communication
slip in that e-mail education too
does not replace but enhance existing lines of communication
Con: Come to depend on it
Not everyone wants to know e-mail
Not everyone has time to check it.
Anyway, those were the pros and cons that came off the top of my head... I
would appreciate any input you have.
