Oklahoma State University Petitioning Group (soon to be Theta Sigma
chapter) worked out some final glitches in By-Laws tonight and decided on
the following highlights: Any thought?
1) Following the discussion of APO-L we require all members to check
their e-mail at least once a week.
2) We created an officer position called the "Webmaster" who will be in
charge of updating the homepage with calendar of events & other information.
3) President, VP Service, and VP Fellowship all serve a year term from
January to January to provide some continuity. All other positions are
elected on a semester basis.
4) VP Membership also serves as Pledgetrainer elect. After they plan
rush and get a pulse on current membership they train the new.
5) We vote pledges in, but not out. We set up a criteria by which pledges
are objectively guaranteed admission to brotherhood. If they come close
to this criteria, but have extenuating circumstances, we can still vote
them in if the meet a minimum criteria to attend FPR.
Within the next week, we should have the bylaws and Rule of Procedure
posted to our homepages with all corrections for those that desire more
info. Note: the bylaws posted to homepage now are not complete.
