While on the subject of pledging bylaws etc., our current pledge class
has a unique problem - at least unique to us.... and I was wondering if
anyone had any imput....
This pledge class is one of the most enthusiastic, energetic, and
active pledge class we've had in a while... they are really a great
group... They truly show the spirit of APO... except in one place...
several of them consistently do not wear their pledge pins. We have never
had to deal with this problem... usually once in a while pledges forgot
a dn got good natured kidding for it - but these pledges usually don't have
it on rather than do...
I'm in a quandry on what to do - we don't want to drive them away by
punishing them, especially since otherwise they are terrific pledges....
it's just they seem to forget and then not care that they don't have their
pins on... They even showed up to a pledge/brotherhood social event without
them.
This is the first time we've ever had this problem... and just insisting
that "APO spirit" is made up of the pride shown when wearing your pledge
pin isn't cutting it....
anyone have any ideas on how to handle this?

thanks,
