Our pledges are required to wear their pins during certain times
(on campus during the day, at projects, etc...) If they are caught
not wearing their pin, they can be "gigged" one service hour to make
up for it. Any active brother can gig a pledge for this BUT the
brother has to have his/her service pin on at the time s/he finds the
delinquent pledge. Nobody is really hardcore about pledges not
wearing pins..(I pointed out the lack of a pin to one pledge at an
outdoor booth, he said it was on his underwear. I told him to show
me & he started to.... I decided that I would just go ahead and believe him...)
For the most part, our pledges were really good about wearing their
pins anyway...
