Pledge Manuals weren't a big deal for us... But pledge boards were
(we got our sigs on them) The rules stated that we could steal the
board if it wasn't on the pledge desk, it was laying out (not in a
backpack) and if the pledge was not in the process of getting a sig.
The board had to be returned within 24 hours.... (they also couldn't
be stolen within 24 hours of a Pledge Review Session).

There were a couple of incidences where the pledge was given the
opportunity to "sing" for their board*... (usually the Brownie Smile
song). if this happened, the actives in the office would usually
join in & it wasn't forced. (An active dropped his wallet in the
office & had to stand on a table & sing by himself to get it back -
we got some fun looks from people in other offices around us-the
walls ended about 2 ft from the ceiling and one wall was half
plexiglass, so people could see in & hear us).

*I want to stress that the pledge was given the opportunity to sing,
but didn't have to, the only time that I ever saw it suggested was
when the active & pledge involved were joking around in the first
place - ONCE I saw a pledge say NO, he didn't want to sing & it was
dropped*
