Well, it is fine to feel however you want, but please keep in mind that
"nationals" does not hand *anything* down that cannot be overturned.

The vast majority of the time, what is "handed down" is the national office
implementing what the *actives voted for at the last national convention*.
Every national convention there are many resolutions for the nat ofc to look
into this or that, which is what they do.

In the event that the nat board of directors does vote to take some action
not previously considered by a nat con, it does not mean that the action is
final. Any actions by the NBOD are reviewable, and hence reversable, by
the next group of actives at a national convention.

True, the NBOD can vote at national cons, but they are only 20 votes out of
like 500 or so. Just something to consider when thinking of "that sinister
group at the national office"....
