Howdy,

Here at Alpha Gamma Chi chapter at Frostburg State University, the Chapter
DSK is our highest honor. In order for someone to recieve the award, these
steps must be followed, quoting our bylaws:

"Article 7, Section 6, Clause 1, Number 4: Distinguished Service Key.

A Brother of this Chapter is eligible. The Executive Committe may award the
DSK to a Brother of this chapter based on a unanimous, secret ballot vote of
this committee from possible submitted nomination letters. The nomination
letter should include the following:

a. Any elected or appointed officer positions held w/in the chapter.
b. Any outstanding duties/services performed by said individual as an officer
   of this chapter.
c. Any service projects planned and/or headed by said individual.
d. Any service hours completed by said individual.
e. Any other observed service work performed by said individual inside or
   outside of this chapter.

This letter can be submitted anonymously. This letter may contain the number
of brothers who agree with the nomination, or each brother who agrees with the
nomination may submit separate letters.

Each nominee shall be voted on separately, and the votes will be counted by
the officer of highest authority in this chapter who is not the nominee. The
officer who counts the votes will make the arrangements for the possible
presentation of the award. The DSK may be awarded to zero or more brothers
during the semester."

So, there you have it. Hope this is helpful to you.

Jonathan
