YiPEE! We finally finished all our paperwork and are awaiting final
approval from Nationals regarding our rechartering ceremony on December
16, 1995. We ended up having 31 theta sigma brothers-to-be with 11 of
them being listed on the charter. All the names and e-mail addresses of
brothers-to-be can be found our our homepage if anyone interested.
T-Shirt Idea: We already decided on our first "official" chapter
t-shirt. We plan to have our school and chapter names on front over
pocket in small letters. On the back we plan to have a huge tree
(perhaps the sturdy oak) with the names of all brothers written around it
with the work "rooted in and here to stay." Has anyone done something
like this before? We are still looking for a good tree.
Official documents: The group approved Constitution, Bylaws, and Rules
are now on our homepage for all to enjoy....
WWW related: The homepage continues to improve as help becomes more of a
reality. We even have a newgroup now and despite knowing practically
nothing about CGI have managed to display access count, local time, and
remote user access site (ahhh). Also have a form for e-mailing those
comments when your browser doesn't support mailto. The next project
(before semester end) will be to develop an updated photo album.
Personal Note: Caroline & I are still figuring out where we will be next
semester after deciding to stop go to school full-time and start working
full-time. I've experienced some nibbles and even some bites, but I'm
really looking to work for a major airlines (AA, Delta, TWA,...) and the
bites aren't there YET! If anyone can help, it would be greatly
appreciated. By the way, I'm an industrial engineering with a couple of
degrees and Caroline has a Speech Pathology degree with a great interest
in community service organization or teaching....
