It looks like Kent State is in *exactly* the same predicament as Illinois
State University (0 members, active charter--until February).
Anyway, as a Section 48 staff member and ISU employee (Technology
Coordinator and AS/400 Operator), I want to see Theta Epsilon chapter at ISU
brought back to life. This is a campus of 22,000 students, mostly resident.
There is absolutely no reason that there shouldn't be a phenomenal chapter.
Here's what I have in mind. The campus needs to be blitzed with publicity
to make sure we attract the interest of every brother who would be
interested in joining. To that end, we're going to put a print ad in the
daily newspaper, stuff organization mailboxes with fliers, put up fliers all
over campus (where we're allowed), a web site, sidewalk chalk, informational
tables, etc.
********************************IMPORTANT!
If you know anyone at Illinois State University who you think would make a
good brother, get in touch with them and have them contact me. We're having
an informational/organizational meeting on November 15 & 16. If they can't
make it, that's okay because we're going to continue with this until we have
enough interest.
If any of you can help, please do. Thanks in advance!
