The University of Arkansas offers a Health Science course called
Ledaership Development. Myself and two other brothers from Beta Rho are
taking the course this semester. Personally I am finding this course of
great benefit. It focuses on an inside out approach to Leadership
Development by starting with you as an individual. The course is
designed around a book,
"The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People" by Stephen R Covey
The book is excellent and I highly recommend it to every brother. I
think it is also something that our Fraternity's Leadership development
staff may want to take a look at. Perhaps a coincidence, but I noticed
that most of the University Faculty and administrators teaching the
various sections of this class at the U of A, are either honorary or
advosiry brothers of Alpha Phi Omega.
Has anyone lese here read the book. For those of you who have not...
Buy the book, read it, it's an investment you will not regret.
