Ok, here's a brief rundown on APOSOC-L:
1) To subscribe: send mail to "LISTSERV@psuvm.psu.edu" with the words
"subscribe APOSOC-L myname" in the body of the message.
2) "I want to post to APOSOC-L, but I hate getting the mail!"
Two options: a) send mail to "LISTSERV@psuvm.psu.edu" that says
"set APOSOC-L noMail" or
b) send mail to "LISTSERV@psuvm.psu.edu" that says
"set APOSOC-L Digest"
noMail means that you're on the list, but you don't get ANY of the mail.
Digest means that you're on the list, but all the messages are bundled
into one BIG message which you get once a day to peruse at your lesure
(this is what I do).
Hope this was informative. TTFN!
