Thank you for your very informative posting regarding AIDS awareness and
education.

AIDS has had an impact on APO as well, and I'm sure many chapters know of
a brother who has died or is living with the HIV virus.  From a National
perspective, we lost our beloved past national president Earle Herbert to
this insidious disease in April 1994.  I had the sad duty of representing
the Fraternity at the memorial service and delivering a eulogy.

I encourage all of our members to take your message to heart.  This is
not a disease that discriminates; it simply kills everyone it touches.
