Well, not all of the corresponding, Ernie. 80% or so. Happy Holidays to
all those on APO-L and to your respective chapters. I'm glad to see that
chapters across the nation are becoming hale and strong, yet concerned
about personal conflicts that might arise between members of a chapter.
As you celebrate your holiday season with those you love, be sure to
extend a little, if not a lot, of that love to your fellow APhiO'ers.
Evidently I mistakenly sent a message to APO-L concerning the release of
_Expressions_, the Iota Phi Chapter's newsletter. While I'm pleased to
send copies of _Expressions_ to chapters across the world, I have a
limited number (about a dozen or so). I'm really pleased with the last
few issues and I'll be glad to lend advice on the creation of a Chapter
Newsletter. If you're going to Regionals X, I'll try to have extra copies
for you.
Yes, the last issue of _Expressions_ was a whopping 20 pages. They are
expensive (our budget is grotesquely huge, but I'm required to have
enough circulation for our chapter and Section). If I run out and if you
still want a copy, I'm afraid that I'll have to ask for $1.50 to cover
production costs.
By far the cheaper alternative is to check out our Web site:

http://pubweb.ucdavis.edu/documents/aphio/aphio.html

We keep a small selection of "Virtual Expressions" and update it
spasmodically. The layout is unpleasant, and doesn't come close to the
hardcopy, but the price (generally free) is right. As of now, the
virtual newsletter is still back-logged to last term's issue.
Yes, the guestbook is still inoperative. I'm working on the problem as
fast as I can and still handle finals. Sorry. We still want your input,
so please use the mailto: links and tell us what you think! (BTW--Ernie
and I jointly work together as Webmasters, although he's been doing much
more work recently than I. I'm the graphics guru and he's the HTML-mesiter.)
If anyone knows Applescript out there, our Server is a Mac 6050/66 (?)
Workstation and refuses to resolve aliases. That's why the guestbook
don't work. If someone can tell me how to verify my pathnames, I'll be
eternally grateful.
