Since today will be my last day posting e-mail to this network for the
semester, I feel that it is only fair to note that next Saturday marks our 70th
birthday. Yes, 70 years of LF&S. Imagine that. Anyway, I'm glad I'm a bro so
I can help partake of this celebration....We are celebrating, aren't we?
Lemme say this to you and then I'm leaving, cause I gotta go to the
toilet. This is my challenge to all of you. When Saturday the 16th rolls arou
around, I want you to get a copy of the APO history book, by hook or crook, and
read the chapter, "In the Beginning" I mean REALLY read it. There is a descrip-
tion of the founding that has such depth like no other history I have ever read.
This is what I tell fellow brothers: "While Leadership, Friendship, and Service
equals Alpha Phi Omega, if you don't know it's origin, and the trials and
tribulations that prompted it's founding and resulting from thereof, you have
trivialized the struggle and the purpose of APO."
