Well I said it would be an identical message but that would be silly.
Back on the 16th I posted a vote message about the big list of all
known APhiO web sites that went something like this:
} Recently, I received a complaint about the list of all known APhiO web
} sites which I post at the end of every month. The person basically
} suggested that only a URL pointing to the list was really necessary
} and that posting the entire list was just clogging up everyone's
} email. I actually tend to agree with this person, but the number of
} submissions I get for that list over the next 2-4 days after I post it
} would seem to suggest otherwise.

} So we'll vote, and I'm sorry but this one is going to be complicated,

This caused some confusion for those on DIGEST MODE (and you'd think I
would have thought of that since I'm on DIGEST MODE!). For those of
you on DIGEST MODE don't reply directly to this message. Send an
email message to <hochsted@cs.utk.edu> with your votes, preferably
including the following text:
} 1. [ ] WELCOME Do you believe the BIG WWW LIST currently posted at
} [ ] BANNED the end of every month is a welcome addition to APO-L
} [ ] ABSTAIN or should be BANNED!

} 2. [ ] FULL Assuming the list will continue to be posted do you

You can do the statistical analysis on your own. If the voting
continues like this I'll post it at the end of every month and variate
back and forth between full and changes.

} tabulated and the list will be posted to APO-L accordingly.
I will be out of town at the Region VI Staff Meeting in Chicago this
weekend and then visiting my parents for a bit so I won't get back
until the voting is over. If you've got a question about this during
that time that you absolutely NEED to have answered, Randy Finder
<naraht@drycas.club.cc.cmu.edu> is your best chance for an informed
response.
