I totally agree that it is not our greatest feature, in fact I would not
even put it in the top five (Maybe more). However, I was under the
impression that we have a great many chapters in the Philippines. They
were their own national organization started in the 50's( I think it was
the 50's) and grew on their own. At the last national convention,
(Dallas) APO International was signed into existence in which we are now
a part. I believe that we are trying to start an APO in Canada and
Australia, and maybe even England. Also, I believe that we have 120,000+
brothers from the Philippines.
Now these numbers might be wrong, but I think they are close. A good
person to answer this might be Dave Emery (Here that Dave?!). Anyway, my
original reason for posting this is we use the word international as a
way to show possible new members that we are growing and that APO is
taking on new challenges to help the rest of the world. But we also
emphasize that it is just starting.
