I believe that a topic division may be good, especially after what I intend to
propose to Nationals in resolutive legislation form:
1. Declare a certain week(or month) each semester (or year) as APO Internet
Awareness Month (or year), where all brothers are encouraged to subscribe and
send an appropriate trial post to each listserv group. I still believe that
a majority of chapters and brothers out there don't know about the internet
groups yet. Also, I have been in APO for 8.5 years and saw how fast
interchapter relations have developed along with email interaction. The
Internet media should definitely be exploited to its full potential by all
those who have computer access to the internet.
2. As an addition to the National pledging standard, targeted of course to
those chapters whose schools have student computer access to the net, allow for
a week for pledges to sign on to each list and make one or more posts
appropriate to each list, for similar reasons as in #1. Perhaps make
Pledge Internet week a middle-to-end portion of APO Internet Awareness Month.
By the way, I've been thinking to make the Awareness months October and Feb.
After most Rushes, before most sectionals.
