Greetings.
I'd like to announce and encourage everyone in Section 84 to attend the
FIRST ANNUAL Section 84 FALL PROJECT
being co-sponsored by Section 84 Staff and the DC Area Alumni
Organization (DCAAO).
WHAT: The project will be to clean, repair, and re-paint areas of
Lansburg Park in cooperation with the "D.C. Department of Recreation and
Parks, Volunteers Program Division."
WHO: All Brothers, Pledges, Alumni, and friends of Alpha Phi Omega are
invited.
WHEN: Saturday, October 5, 1996 from 10am to before 3pm.
WHERE: Lansburg Park in Southwest Washington DC, one block NORTH of M
St. along Delaware Ave. at L St. near the "Waterfront" Metro Station.
DIRECTIONS: E-Mail me or see the flyer, which should be getting to area
chapters soon.
What to Bring: Work gloves, trash bags, and drinking water. Also a
picnic meal.
What to Wear: Work clothes, such as long pants and hard shoes. Wear
something you don't mind getting dirty.
What about After?: There will be a picnic after the project for all to
enjoy, located right in the park that we're cleaning up. Please contact
me about what you should bring for the picnic.
