Since Pittsburgh is pretty much a captive market for USAir, in the hopes
of making a rather bleak situation just a bit better, I managed to
arrange a discount on USAir flights to and from the convention. It's 5%
off of discounted fares, and 10% off of full coach fares, and a few
others. The good news is that the discount is open from anywhere in the
US to Phoenix and back, and can be applied in addition to the Travel
Discounters discount. Here's what you have to do to get the discount on
tickets straight from USAir:
Call Convention Registration at 1-800-334-8644, tell them you want
Gold File #13780148, and tell them when you want to fly.

Meeting and Convention desk: 1-800-872-8402
Convention Registration: 1-800-334-8644
If you call Travel Discounters, (or any other travel agent) give them the
gold file number, and they should be able to look up and apply the
discount.
