Greeting Fellow APOers:
This is a general announcement to all Brothers in Region Five about some
upcoming events being presented by the Regional Staff.
Our Regional Director Barb Anderson has asked that I post this message to
give you a heads up about the 1996 Region V APOKE/LD DAZE (APO Knowledge
Exchange and Leadership Development Daze) which will be held on October
19th at Marshall University in Hunington, WVa and on October 26th at Case
Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio.
Due to the size of our region it was felt that it would be easier for the
undergraduates if we held this even twice, once in the southern and
northern portions of the Region. The purpose of this event is to bring the
brothers together to discuss the upcoming national convention in Phoenix.
We will be reviewing the legislation and other topics such as travel
arrangements and what to expect at your first convention (FUN, WORK & 2000+
Brothers singing the toast song).
In addition the Region LD committee will be presenting several short
presentations. We are planning on begining the APOKE/LD Daze at 10:00am and
(hopefully) conclude by 4:00pm. Additional infomation will be sent to the
chapters by regular mail. So keep an eye out for those mailers. If you have
any questions or comments, please feel free to contact me at the address
above.
Thanks again for your time and see you in October.
Yours in Service,
John Stacy
