Also adding to what bill said our pledges are only required to do
17 & 1/2 hours of service aproximately 7/10 of the brothers requirement. We
feel that you should not ask the pledges to do more work than the brothers.
Since they pledge for about 7 weeks and we have 10 week terms, we ask them
to do an equilvilent amount of service in an equivelent amount of time.
Although when I pledged I was required to to 28 hours of service
while the brothers were to do 40. And brothers had to do that every
quarter. So every brother, if they didn't go assosiate, was required to do
160 hours of service per year. Now it is only 100 hours a year.
But I know now ex rutgers camden had a hard time recruiting with
just a three project requirment fopr the term.
