Brothers,

I need your attention!

Everyone hates to admit a mistake. But, today, I need to address a mistake
in regard to voting at the National Convention. I will repeat the following
statement several times in this posting, just so there is no confusion.

"There is NO proxy voting at the National Convention!"

The question came up when Brother Rich Hayward, President of Kappa Upsilon
Chapter correctly noted an error in the National Convention Registration
materials, that every Chapter has received and read.

On Page 3, of the yellow covered Registration information booklet, the
paragraph that is entitled -- "Each Chapter Has Two Votes" -- it
states..."The National Convention does NOW allow a proxy vote." I hope you
realize that "now" in that sentence is actually "not"...so the sentence
really reads, "The National Convention does NOT allow a proxy vote."

I repeat one last time......the National Convention does NOT allow a proxy
vote.

Thanks for your patience and understanding.

Fraternally,

Patrick Burke
National Executive Director
