On the point of:

Gee....guess where our initiation ritual comes from? OA!!

Actually Initiation rituals all tend to follow a similar formula. So I
would not necessarily say that our Initiation ritual is derived from the
Ordeal Ceremony of the OA. As a matter of fact, from the Witauchsoman
Lodge # 44, Minsi Trails Council, the Order of the Arrow was not
introduced into the Delaware Valley Council (the council that would have
operated Camp Weygadt, (or maybe the Easton Scout Reservation) (I have asked
Veteran Scouters in the area and they do not recall an Easton Scout
Reservation in the area. Camp Weygadt was the camp operated by the
Delaware Valley Council.) (Back to the topic) until well after the start
of the Alpha Chapter. The name of the lodge was Ah' Pace #58.

So I cannot aggree that the Initiation Ritual Comes from the OA. It is
similar, but it is following a formula that many groups with Initation
rituals follow, (introduction, explanation of the organization, the
history, the meaning of the symbolism, oath) I found these in a couple
of the rituals I have read through.

Just to add.
