Hmmm, let's look at this. The fraternity was founded in 1925, and women were
allowed
in in 1976. The fraternity therefore survived 51 years without women. With
women,
(not counting Mrn and Betsy who joined before '76) the fraternity has survived
only
20 years thus far. I therefore find it very difficult to believe that the
fraternity
has existed for the entire 71 years that it has only because women were allowed
in
in '76. Don't get me wrong, I'm glad that the fraternity is co-ed, and I like
it
better that way, but why can't we just respect the fact that some chapters are
not
co-ed? I have no problem with the co-ed chapters. It's really not a big deal.
Get over it.
