I was never a Boy Scout, but then again I am female. But that is not
the point, I do know the Scout Oath and Law. I learned it when I first got in
and this semester my Pledges learned it as well. I think it is important to
know. It not only says what a good Boy Scout or Brother is, it also says what
a good citizen is and I think that is important. If you do not know what a
good citizen is then what are you?
I hope this does not evoke a bad response. Everyone needs to remember
that this where we started, and if you don't have pride in where you started,
do you really know who you are?
