I'm not sure if this is significant or not, but when do we tell pledges
what the symbols of our fraternity mean? Not until the activation
ceremony. I wonder if we would not be better served by educating our
pledges and testing them over this material during their pledging, rather
than finally telling them at the end. I believe the symbolism is
incredibally important, and I fear not enough brothers understand it.
If I'm way off base here, please let me know.
