But is it time to reevaluate it at a National level? Some formerly
all-male chapters either decided on their own or were forced to go co-ed by
the college administration.
Further, I believe that once you make a promise, you are obligated to
*never* break it. You can't very well say, "well, things were different
when we made that promise". That's not sufficient. If, however, another
governing body forces them to go co-ed, then that's a natural course of
action. Those bodies never made a promise not to force the chapters to go
co-ed.
