Actually, this has everything to do with tolerance. Horton observed scouts
were able to tolerate differences in religion, and I'm sure other areas
as well, and that was what impressed him about the oath and law. If it
wasn't for this tolerance, he would not have chosen those ideals as a
basis for a new fraternity. This is what makes us strong, the ability to
accept others regardless of the differences they may have, and that includes
BSA's current intolerance of the "3-G's".
