RECALL CORRECTLY, (and that can be a real if). This was a fight between
local chapters (who wanted to be co-ed) and a national that said no. I
seem to recall that a BIG issue in this case was the business club
nature of the organization and the fact that in the community requesting
to be co-ed there was no viable alternative for a businesswoman. i.e.:
If they didn't join Jaycees they were severely handicapped in their
community as far as moving ahead in business.
I don't think this fact pattern can be shown to match closely enough the
status of local Alpha Phi Omega Chapters.
