I have seen several posts about how female students at schools with
all-male chapters of APO are being hurt. I can not speak for all the
chapters, but here at Drexel Gamma Sigma Sigma provides that oppurtunity.
I have heard alot of remarks about Gamma Sig on this list also and was
hoping that a member of that organization would respond (seeing that there
are brothers of APO that are also members of Gamma Sig). I find it
insulting to automatically assume that APO is better than Gamma Sig. On
our campus they have at times had a quite superior service program and have
been able to independently run their own activities. Both organizations
and members have benefited greatly from our relationship, and by having
non-competing membership recruitment programs we have been able to preserve
this relationship.
