It has always been my understanding as a three-semester Rutgers student that
Douglass College was basically one campus of a multi-campus system. There is
no real sexual segregation other than the residence halls. Students from any
campus can take classes from any other campus, and in fact it's just about
impossible to get a degree from the New Brunsick-Piscataway campuses without
doing so.
The name Douglass College doesn't make it a separate institution from Rutgers
any more than the College of Natural Science here is separate from MSU in
general. If my interpretation here is wrong, somebody from Douglass feel
free to step in and shred me.
