The way the by-laws are worded can potentially allow for chapters to decide
not to accept members based on any criteria that chapter chooses to use. As
long as that is a part of the by-laws, the chance exists, and I feel that
it is relevant. I also don't feel that chapters LIVES are at stake, as many
chapters have successfully made the switch to co-ed (some fairly recently)
and they have flourished with minimal difficulty.
