I agree with Charlie in this case. A service hour requirement is
best decided by each chapter. Each chapter's dynamics are different as
well as the schedule they are on.(e.g. quarters & semester). However, if
such an amendment were passed, it wouldn't effect our chapter as we
require 25 hours/quarter. Most brothers make it and even go well over it
each quarter. At one point in time, we even required 40 hours/quarter
which once again our brothers were able to make without a problem.
In any case, it's just best left to the chapters. Just out of curiousity,
how would this been enforced?
