As a voting delegate for the Alpha Beta Omega Chapter in Dallas, TX
(nationals 1994), I recall that the 1994 Convention has passed the decision
of changing the words in the Toast Song, "Men Of" to, "True To." Of couse,
this decision will come up again in Phoenix, and I have been a litte
surprised that I haven't heard anything posted to this list regarding this
issue (I have about 65 Kbytes of e-mail from APO-L two years ago on this
very thread :-).
How do brothers feel about changing this tradition (i.e. the Toast Song),
do people want to change all of the words, "Men Of," in the toast song to,
"True To." Personally, I do not feel it necessary, as it is just two
words, but I would rather see this change over the proposed, "THIRD VERSE."
(I can't recall if the third verse was passed on from this convention to
the next).
Anyway, I guess this will give us all something else to talk about for
awhile. Sorry if I've increased the volume of the list again :-)
