This non-commercial debate interruption is brought to you by mrn, National
Service Chair.

November 15 is the target date for submission of National Service Day Reports.
There are a number of ways to accomplish this:
1) Fill out a National Service Day Report Form found in the NSD Handbook and
mail or fax it to the National Office.
2) Fill out a National Service Day Report Form mailed out to all chapters in
last week's mailing from National, in case you misplaced the first one, and mail
or fax it back to the National Office.
3) Download a copy from the Service Webpage's new site:
http://www.u.arizona.edu/~syden/nsc.htm then either
          mail or fax it to the National Office;
email it to the National Office :aponed@aol.com
email it to me here at home: 71542.2142@compuserve.com
email it to me at work: mrn@kenan.com
DO NOT POST IT TO APO-L - I'm sure it's wonderful but it's too long to
do that

If you are applying for NSD Participation Pins please make sure you fill out
everything and include a list of APhiO participants. Limited supply and going
fast so hurry. First reports who qualify, get 'em.
NOTE: It is more helpful if you fill out an NSD REPORT FORM for an NSD project,
rather than a regular form. The NSD form asks for more specific info.

AND NOW A PLUG FOR AUTOMATED PROJECT SHARING.
The *regular* Project Sharing form is best for all your other projects. Got a
project you're particularly proud of? Want to contribute to the Service
Database? Fill out an automated Project Sharing Form, at the new site listed
above. It gets mailed to me, then sucked into the (now mostly empty!) National
Service Database. Eventually you should be able to query this database (or at
least request a keyword search) for a wide assortment of project ideas. But this
will only come to pass if you contribute, so please do. It's fun, it's fast,
it's technology!

Project Sharing Forms are also a source for the Service Flash! newsletter. Send
me stuff so we don't have to invent things!

(The Project Sharing Form in hardcopy is mailed in each Service Flash, and also
went out in last week's mailing.)

Thank you for your service. Thank you for your reports.

YILFS,
mrn
National Service Chair

p.s. Your AAMD's and rosters and stuff are due the 15th as well. nag, nag, nag
:)
