As much as it pains me to say this, and for those of you who know me well, you
know I'm not kidding, I agree with Br. Schroeder.

At the risk of sounding like your Mom or Dad lecturing, I'll go a step
further.  The *primary* responsibility of every college student is to work
hard, study hard, graduate and become a contributing member of society.  Alpha
Phi Omega, while near and dear to all of us must take a back seat to this
primary objective.

With respect to the discussion on service requirements at chapters, I
will not enter that debate except to note that getting a good education
(OK, studying hard and learning) is one of the highest, if not the
highest, forms of service to the nation that I can think of.
