Hi, this is Greg Rudnick and Marcus Snyder. We are both members of Theta
Iota Chapter at the University of Arizona. Unfortunately, Megan had to
step down as opening ceremonies chairperson due to a hectic schedule and
the inability to attend the national convention. We have agreed to take
over this position and look forward to doing a good job.

These are the roll call rules for the national convention. If one of you
could please forward this to the APO listerve, we would be grateful.
Please let us know if you have any questions. Our e-mail addresses are
snyderm@u.arizona.edu and grudnick@as.arizona.edu .

1997 Alpha Phi Omega National Convention
Roll Call Information
Orchestrated by Theta Iota - University of Arizona, Tucson, AZ

-General Info/Rules

-Chapters must confirm roll call participation at check in.

-A list of confirmed roll call participants will be published
later that day with their performance and stage numbers.

-Chapters will proceed in reverse Greek alphabetical order.

-Each chapter will have 30 seconds to perform their roll call.

-Chapters must be at their appropriate stage three
presentations prior to when they are to perform their roll call.

-There will be two microphones at each stage.

-As a chapter is presenting on one stage, the following
chapter will be preparing on the other.

-There will be no lapse time in between sucessive skits--one
presentation on one stage will immediately follow the presentation on
        the other stage.

-Roll calls will be awarded a numeric rank based on a scale of
one to ten (one is the worst, ten is the best).

-Presentations will be judged on their originality, humor and
        enthusiasm/spirit.

-The top five presentations will be performed at the opening
        banquet.

-No sets or instruments are allowed and only hand props are allowed.
