This is in by no means a flame. Please do not interpret it as such.
Experience has taught me that if one plays devils advocate too often, just
for the sake of promoting a good debate, the advocate is often viewed as THE
devil him/herself. I would propose that you then find those opinions based
on the quality of life for each side and weigh them both on the matter in the
same correspondence. I know that I would respect you more if you did not
simply say "Well, I will take the side of what I percieve to be the underdog
just for the sake of doing so." The underdog can win if what he stands for
has enough merit to sway the tide, however rough.
