Good news,
Ken Caminiti, the National League MVP from the San Diego Padres, has
signed a baseball for me for the silent auction at nationals.
Also, one-time professional hockey scoring leader Gordie Howe of the
Detroit Red Wings said he will send me a puck that he has signed.
I have three other requests out that I am reasonably sure I will receive -- a
canned ham signed by David Letterman and a boxing glove signed by
heavyweight boxing champion George Foreman. But I do not have either
in hand. Hopefully, Wilfred Krenek will provide something for the
auction.
Remember, please bring a jersey or something from your school to be
auctioned off as well.
Sincerely,
-- Neal Farmer, national alumni director
