We do not have a current "movement" on our campus, although
a former student, who recently lost election to the Oregon
House of Representatives, has very similar feelings as the
three Wisconsin law students. He has not been successful in
getting a great deal of support, but as the Wisconsin case
proves, this is an issue that can be proven by a small
          group, or even an individual.

I plan on using the case in a College Student Services
graduate course that I'll be teaching next term. I feel
that the issue of mandatory student fees will be a hot issue
for the next few years. Students graduating into the
professional field of student activities will need a good
foundation in the complexities of this case and the
          Virginia lawsuit.
