Hi all!
Our service vp, Steve, would like me to ask a question of you. (Please
forgive how vague this is!)
He has an idea to set up a community awareness-type thing to let volunteer
organizations in the community come to campus for a day or week and
recruit students. People like the Crisis Call Center and Food Bank and
such. Only those wanting to recruit volunteers, not members for their
group. And maybe to set up a project or two with these groups and make a
city-wide service day, kind of like NSD, just on a smaller scale. (We're
still a Petitioning Group, so we really need help and ideas some days!)
If anyone has any ideas on this, or questions, please send them to Steve
